Directorate for Roads of Vietnam (MoT) has just issued the document to request the regional road management units, the departments of transport of provinces mandated to manage national highways all over the country to study and apply the precast reinforced concrete channels/ ditches of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) in the projects of periodic repair and maintenance of the national highway system. This is one of the contents of Scientific and Technological innovation under the comprehensive innovation scheme for road maintenance in Vietnam.

On 23^rd January, the Science and Technology Council - Directorate of Irrigation (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) - being in charge of recognizing the new technology and technique breakthroughs worked with Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) to evaluate the scientific and technological works of BUSADCO applied in the rural agriculture, dyke protection, embankment construction and prevention of climate change.

The Provincial People’s Committee has just issued the Decision on approving the additional adjustment of the construction and investment of Vung Tau Wastewater Collection, Treatment and Drainage Project (French ODA). Two main contents which will be adjusted include: wastewater collection network and pumping stations; total investment and source of capital.

On March 17^th, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee presided the meeting with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) led by Ms. Dagmar Vogel, Head of Infrastructure Financing on Ba Ria Wastewater Collection and Treatment project.

In the morning of 10^th December 2014 at the Giang Vo Exhibition Centre, Hanoi City the International Exhibition of Construction Technology, Equipment, Material and mining industry - VIETCONSTECH 2014 was opened. The participants of the Exhibition included Mr. Uong Chu Luu - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Vu Van Ninh - Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Trinh Dinh Dung - Minister of Construction and representatives of the Ministries of: Science and Technology, Finance, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Trade, Information and Communications, Culture - Sports and Tourism and more than 1,000 visitors.
