The Provincial People’s Committee has just issued the Decision on approving the additional adjustment of the construction and investment of Vung Tau Wastewater Collection, Treatment and Drainage Project (French ODA). Two main contents which will be adjusted include: wastewater collection network and pumping stations; total investment and source of capital.

Beside adding many reinforced concrete pipeline D300-D1.200, HDPE pipeline D300-D400 from the streets of Vo Thi Sau, Hoang Hoa Tham and Le Loi, Dai An area to corresponding pumping stations of Bau Sen 1, Ben Dinh, the total investment of the project is also adjusted from 899 billion VND to 1,133 billion VND, of which, the French ODA is nearly 459 billion VND, equivalent to 16 million Euro.

Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) is the Employer of this project. It is expected that the construction of the whole network and the components of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), pumping stations shall be completed and officially put into operation in 2016.

Reportedly, currently, BUSADCO is the Employer of 6 projects using ODA funds of France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain and Belgium in wastewater collection, treatment and drainage with the total budget of over 5,000 billion VND.
