It was the direction of Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh, Chairman of PPC at the briefing for capital construction with departments and local authorities taken place yesterday April 7th. Participants of the meeting also included the Vice Chairmen of PPC: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thoi, Mr. Le Thanh Dung.

At the briefing, Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh required local authorities, especially Vung Tau People’s Committee, Tan Thanh People’s Committee to coordinate with the concerned departments in solving problems of ground clearance (GC) for key projects and works such as inter-port road of Cai Mep-Thi Vai, Phu My III Industrial Zone, Southern Petrochemical Complex, the access to Long Son petroleum industrial zone, 30/4 street with the section from Chi Linh T-junction to Eo Ong Tu, Vung Tau hospital works, electrical works in Vung Tau, Vung Tau wastewater collection, treatment and drainage project. He recommended the investors to promote their active role in ground clearance to accelerate the project progress; if the problems cannot be resolved, they have to submit it soon to the PPC for consideration and resolution.
According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment, the planned total budget for 2015 for the projects managed by the PPC is more than 4,859 billion VND. Until March 27th, the disbursement value reaches over 1,796 billion VND, accounts for 36.41% in capital plan of 2015.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the disbursement of investment budget for capital construction in the first 3 months has been changed. However, the biggest problem in the current capital construction is the ground clearance. Besides, until March 2015, only 4 projects of 37 projects in the list of new construction were started, 2 projects have been in the stage of bidding organization and the remaining projects have been completing the engineering design, construction drawings, the total cost estimates.
