The fourth tenure congress (2012-2014) of the Southern Drainage Branch was taken place on 25^th May in HCM City.

In the last tenure, four units including: Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO), Binh Duong Water Supply Sewerage Environment Company (BIWASE), Hung Vuong Construction Company and Ben Tre Water Supply and Drainage Company won the cup of “Vietnamese Green Line". Besides, all members were also interested in scientific research and investment in production development. In the fourth tenure, the Southern Drainage Branch shall be interested in selecting the topic of management of urban drainage in Ho Chi Minh City as the focus of innovating the current management model and minimizing flood to be suitable for a big urban area of the whole country. At the same time, some workshops should be organized with some topics such as the management of urban drainage and sanitation in Ho Chi Minh City: actual situation and solutions.

The Congress elected the Branch’s Executive Committee of the fourth tenure consisting of 55 members. Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, the General Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) was voted to continue holding the position as the Chairman of Southern Drainage Branch in the fourth tenure.
