On 31^st October, a workshop “Strengthening the competence of water supply and drainage sector in Vietnam” was taken place in Vung Tau City. The workshop was organized by German Water Partnership, Ministry of Environment and Public Health of Bavaria (Federal Republic of Germany) in collaboration with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (Busadco). Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended the seminar.

In the afternoon of 1^st October 2012, at Hanoi Horison Hotel, Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association (VWSA) and German Water Partnership (GWP) together with German Agency for International Cooperation, SEDD, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company, Vietnam Water and Environment Investment Corporation – JSC held a Seminar: "Establishment of a Vietnamese Water Competence Development Centre"

Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage And Development Company (BUSADCO) was just awarded the “Best in Class” Award of Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA) organized by Asia Pacific Quality Organization.  

As reported from Ba Ria- Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO), after winning the gold prize of Vifotec 2011, the product of BUSADCO - precast reinforced concrete manholes with thin walls in conjunction with joints was selected to attend the 23^rd international exhibition of invention, innovation and technology in 2012 in Malaysia and won the gold prize. This is the works of Labor Hero - General Director, Mr. Hoang Duc Thao and his colleagues.

The fourth tenure congress (2012-2014) of the Southern Drainage Branch was taken place on 25^th May in HCM City.
