On the 5^th November, Mr. Nguyen Quan, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Science and Technology and the delegation visited and worked at Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO). Attending the meeting, there is also Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of Provincial Council.

At the meeting, the Labor Hero, Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, BUSADCO's Chairman cum General Director reported in generally about the company's typical scientific and technological achievements over the past years. Of which, he emphasized the research and application projects in practicality, the innovative products of the company in the field of mechanical technology, biotechnology for wastewater-treatment and environmental protection, technological line of manufacturing precast reinforced concrete products with thin walls applied for technical infrastructure and environmental protection. According to Mr. Hoang Duc Thao, BUSADCO's products were issued 19 patents and utility solutions by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Viet Nam; The MOST allowed establishing 13 national standards TCVN for the products; The MOC issued 9 certificates of appropriate technology allowing for technology transfer and widely application the products nationwide.

Making speech at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh highly appreciated BUSADCO’s development, a model of State-Technological Business has effort, breakthroughs in scientific and technological research and innovation to produce the products with high usability, creating economic efficiency, benefiting the business and a positive contributing to the construction of urban infrastructure, environmental protection of BR-VT for a sustainable development. The team leaders, engineers and workers of the company are always united with strong determination for developing the company to reach higher achievements and affirming the brand name of BUSADCO in the field of Science and Technology, creating strong competition in international integration trend.

The Minister of Science and Technology – Mr. Nguyen Quan also appreciated the achievements of leaders, engineers, workers and employees of BUSADCO through the scientific and technological products that have been applied successfully in practicality. It is effectively contributing to the field of environment and urban development of the country in general and BR-VT in particular. "BUSADCO not only has created the brand for their innovative scientific and technological products but also built the model of a typical Vietnam business which always creates and innovates. In the afternoon of the same day, the Minister Nguyen Quan and the delegation visited the BUSADCO technological plant manufacturing reinforced concrete with thin walls in Ba Ria City.
