BUSADCO products were put in the pilot deployment in Ho Chi Minh City

Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) was awarded the Certificate of Vietnamese Record Establishment for the first scientific and technological business in construction sector and environmental protection in Vietnam by Vietnam Book of Records.

BUSADCO is the pioneer scientific and technological business in the field of constructing technical infrastructure for urban and rural areas, environmental protection, coping with the climate change. BUSADCO has invented, created more than 30 scientific works, including 23 works were applied in the field of technical infrastructure and environmental protection. BUSADCO scientific works have high applicability and have been used in projects of technical infrastructure and environmental protection in 48/63 provinces and cities.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just approved BUSADCO to carry out the pilot application of BUSADCO assembled reinforced concrete components for protection of riverbanks, lakes and dykes. Accordingly, the pilot area is at Nuoc Len channel (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) with a length of 15m. According to the evaluation of Steering Center of the Urban Flood Control Program, this product is manufactured by a new technology, it is polymer fiber reinforced concrete with concrete intensity M > 300, using sulphate resistant cement. The product is anti-erosion and anti-corrosion in marine environment.

Reportedly, the Water Resource Directorate allowed to apply BUSADCO assembled reinforced concrete components for protection of riverbanks, lakes and dykes all over the country in the works of protecting riverbanks, lakes and dykes as anti-erosion, anti-landslide, wave stopping and reducing, replacing embankments and soil walls, creating the shore and extending the area towards the sea.
