On 6^th April, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development Company (BUSADCO) approved the solution of preventing flooding on a large scale in the rainy season 2015

Accordingly, in Vung Tau city, the plan is developed for 7 major basins and 5 sub-basins with the total area of ​​nearly 900ha including: Bai Truoc - Ben Dinh, Vo Thi Sau – A Chau Lake - Bau Sen Lake - Bau Trung, Rach Ba - Cua Lap, Phuoc Co – Hai Dang and Long Son - Go Gang. In the area of Ba Ria and districts, the plan is developed for 20 major basins with the total area of ​​over 5,000ha. Besides the deployment of dredging, constructing a new system of drainage pipelines, BUSADCO is also strengthening the management of controlling the regulating tidal gates, controlling the pale system at the outlets, regulation reservoirs in the province. Especially in case of heavy rain, BUSADCO will mobilize total 100% of transportations and staffs to be on duty on all streets in order to cope with problems caused by the rain, to prevent flooding and to assist the people in participating in the traffic. Also according to the approved plan, nearly 1,000km of drainage pipelines and dozens of regulation reservoirs, regulating tidal gates will be put into "emergency" management status before the rainy season 2015 by BUSADCO.
