The People’s Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province has approved the Project on construction of wastewater collection and treatment system in Long Dien area, Long Dien District. This is the project of group A under the framework of the financial cooperation between the Government of Spain and Vietnam (ODA of Spain), the Employer is Ba Ria –Vung Tau Urban Sewerage and Development One Member Limited Company.

With the total investment of 41.2 million Euros, the project will be invested in constructing the wastewater collection and treatment system in order to treat the wastewater from the households, businesses and service units in Long Dien area, Long Dien District. The investment scale of the project includes 1 wastewater treatment plant with the capacity of 19,500 m³/day and a wastewater collection system divided into 9 basins consisting of 11 pumping stations and about 16,800m of HDPE DN 200-800 pipeline. The project will be implemented in 7 years from 2015 to 2022.
