In 2013, it was marked ten (10) years of growth and development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban and Development Company (Busadco), a business using 100% government capital owned by Ba Ria – Vung Tau People’s Committee (BR-VT PPC) as well as the first Scientific and Technological Business of Vietnam.

During ten (10) operation years (2003-2013), Busadco always executed assigned tasks of public interest, resolved flood and treated the wastewater very well in the province. With the contribution of Busadco, Ba Ria -Vung Tau Province became the one of provinces having the freshest living environment in the whole country. With the own capacity, Busadco has been entrusted with the Employer of six (6) ODA projects in the field of wastewater collection, treatment and drainage such as projects using ODA funds of Governments of French Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland. These projects are consistent with the construction planning of urban areas and drainage of BR-VT Province until 2030 that promises to bring a new feature to the urban environment of the province. Those projects are also a breakthrough in the field of wastewater treatment in Vietnam.
Being a typical State Enterprise of BR-VT Province, Busadco always preserves and develops the business capital with revenues and profits in the following year higher than the previous one. Busadco does not only execute tasks of public interest well but also builds up its operation model efficiently and expands activities into various fields such as construction, investment, ... especially there is a breakthrough field of researching and applying the science and technology. With relentless creativity, Busadco successfully researched and applied twenty-three (23) scientific projects for the technical infrastructure of urban, rural areas and environmental protection. Many projects have brought great benefit to the community including the systems of odor prevention manholes, reinforced concrete manholes in conjunction with joints, technical trenches, septic tanks in urban and rural areas, ... In order to recognize achievements of Busadco, BR-VT Province set up a profile to propose the Government for conferring the title of Labor Hero to Busadco.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of establishment, on behalf of the Provincial People’s Committee, I would like to send the best congratulation to all the staff and workers of Busadco and praise their operation results in the past years that contributed to the development of BR-VT province. I hope all leaders as well as staffs of Busadco will continue promoting the spirit of innovation, breakthrough and development in the future so that they can be worthy of confidence of the provincial authorities and the people.
